Angel stepped into the firelight, her hands in the air and her blaster still on her belt. “Just me.” She smiles, pulling her mask down. “Were you expecting someone else?” Angel runs a hand through her hair, looking around under the premise of more company.

Riot let out a quiet breath and put her gun back into its holster, returning to the fire. “Yeah, I was. But I think it’s okay.” She poked and prodded at the flames again, then sat back on her heels. “Thought I heard… never mind.” She mixed the ashes a little and laid the antenna down, watching the flames. “How are you holding up?”
